When I started writing this blog approximately seven months ago, I asked myself two big questions – would I find enough topics to write about and would anyone continue to read my posts?
Research shows that almost all blogs are monetized (sponsored by advertisers who pay the person writing the blog) and most blogs are shared on several social media sites. Being as I did not begin this blog for monetary purposes (I actually pay for the blog platform), and Facebook is the only social media source that I use, it is pretty clear why I never got a degree in business.
Many people assume that I know who is reading my blog – I actually have no idea unless someone comments or tells me. The analytics show that there have been 38 visitors from other countries, which I find really interesting. I also find it interesting that I actually know what the word “analytics” means. So far over 600 people have visited my site and my posts have been read almost 2,000 times.
Thank you to all of you for your support – now on to post number 51.
