Many of my friends love to travel around the world. When I tell them that the only locations outside of the United States that I have visited are Aruba and Canada, they appear shocked and often ask why I have never traveled to Europe or Asia. The reality is simple – I never wanted to.
For me, there are so many places to visit which do not involve dragging suitcases to the car, standing in long airport lines, and spending an entire day sitting inside of an airplane, For those of us who need to take Dramamine every three hours, the good news is only one magazine is needed for a flight to New York (5 hours) because when you are drowsy, you read the same page several times without realizing it.
For now I am happy to walk around my neighborhood every morning and enjoy the beautiful, peaceful views as the sun comes up.
No passport required.
