HERE I GO AGAIN

Last year I promised myself that I would not voluntarily commit to any more projects that involved cabinets, painting, plumbing, or electrical rewiring. Not only did I break that promise, but I am currently doing all of the above and more – all in the same time frame.

It is now at the point where I have created many Word documents containing tables that identify the project, the name of the company doing each project, the name of the individual doing the actual work, the dates they are working, and of course the cost. Needless to say, I have typed everything in a very large font in order to avoid telling the electrician to put in a new toilet.

The good news is that all of the work will be finished in the next month. The bad news is that all of the work needs to be finished in the next month. I started writing everything that is important in my calendar with bright-colored Sharpies, but it turns out that everything is important so my calendar looks like it was attacked by a three-year-old.

Here I go again.
