LIKE MOTHER, LIKE DAUGHTER

I received a text from my daughter last week asking if I had her black puffer jacket. I actually own several different styles of jackets with that fit that description. A lightweight puffer, a medium weight puffer, and a heavyweight puffer have lived in my closet for the last few years – kind of like Goldilocks and the three puffers.

A few months ago I noticed that jacket number two seemed a little tighter than it had in previous years, but I wrote it off to way too much sourdough bread. After speaking with my daughter, she stated that her jacket seemed much larger lately. Upon checking the sizes on the two badly fitting jackets, it became obvious that we had inadvertently switched clothing the last time I visited her home. We had both initially reached the conclusion that we had experienced radical changes in our weight and were happy to discover the reality.

Like mother, like daughter.
