HOLIDAY GIFT LIST

I started our holiday gift list in October so that I could take my time and buy gifts that were hopefully useful and thoughtful. Every gift was purchased online, which meant that I could make my choices any time of the day without driving to a mall.

Like many of you, my favorite gifts to buy have always been for children. This year I really enjoyed purchasing a wooden combo chess, backgammon, and checkers set for the five-year-old, a collection of board games for the four-year-old, and a tutu dress with a fluffy pink jacket for the sixteen-month-old.

Finding gifts for my ten-year-old grandson was interesting. I was given a suggested gift list which included an adorable small stuffed Corgi, various robotics kits, and a game about dogs entitled Farting Frenchies, a book about Greek mythology and a request for a package of assorted macarons. If there was a prize for the most eclectic gift list, I believe that my grandson would probably win.

I can’t wait to play a game about farting French poodles while eating macarons.
Viva la France!
