When people ask me what I write about in my blog, sometimes I just say that it is really about nothing. The majority of my posts are about mundane, everyday events – no travel to exotic places, no life changing revelations, and no solutions to difficult problems. This post is consistent with that comment.
Last week’s post was about my ongoing battle to keep my hair from betraying my age. Ironically, after publishing my thoughts about this annoying problem, I actually discovered an easy fix. Being as this blog is not monetized, meaning I do not have companies paying me to promote their products, my motives for sharing information are very simple. The items I occasionally mention are purchased by me, and I like them.
I have tried numerous products to temporarily cover my significant gray hair between visits to my hairdresser. Last week, I purchased Bodify, which is a cleverly packaged powder that truly covers gray roots within a few seconds and stays on for several days or until you wash your hair. Ironically, after publishing my thoughts about this annoying problem, I actually discovered an easy fix. Being as this blog is not monetized, meaning I do not have companies paying me to promote their products, my motives for sharing information are very simple. The items I occasionally mention are purchased by me and I like them. According to the reviews, some men use this to cover the gray in their beards as well as to fill in thinning hair. Since my husband luckily has beautiful silver hair, I have no way of substantiating this claim. I did bring my Boldify container to my highly skeptical daughter for a demonstration, and guess who has this tiny Amazon powerhouse product on her bathroom counter.
Now that I have an easy solution that works, I am happy – kind of like a child with a new toy. The best part is that no batteries are required.
